The one with week five...

 .. of the painting-challenge.

Believe it or not, I haven´t painted much at all the past week so I am really thanksful that I managed to finalize these models last night and am putting them inte storage as I post this.
Again, nothing special, just a mix of speedpaints and acrylics with a healthy splash of wash on top.
For next week I am painting the last models for the Gepid (unless I decide on painting the filler-knights from Plastic Soldier that are not a 100% match for my current knights).

In the background one can hardly make out the still-ongoing Light Mortars (just not feeling it) and the first few 15mm Norwegians I am painting up for The Battle of Narvik. As always, the first batch are testmodels.

Other than that I have ordered a couple of Flexible Triads from Army Painter, 'Browns' and 'Deep Skintones'. I have in the past year or so used speedpaints for horses and I have come to the conclusion that acrylics will suit my Skythian army way better. Gonna be fun to try out a completely new paintrange aswell as having a 5-color highlight-system readily made on the shelf.

Also, HOI IV is taking up it's fair share of hobbytime together with a Megagame I am participating in. The theme is the far north, with the various big players around the Baltic, wrestling for control of Scandinavia. The year is 1521 and I play in the noble house of Vasa.
2 rounds per week.

Cheers!
