The one with the Great War german project..

 ... started for real.
I always seem to gravitate to the early periods of the major conflicts and the Great War is no exception. I'm going for a 1914-1915 setup for starters as I embark into the period with the sole purpose to use Square Bashing as a ruleset. As always I print pretty much everything you see on the blog and these are from Turner Miniatures as are the rest of the nations you will see in the coming year or two on the blog. I have just about 95% of his range at this point and can wholeheartedly reccomend them, atleast for 6mm prints.
The Daimler Sdk.Fz 3 is from M_Bergman (no link available to Thingiverse atm).

I've had them in the shelf for a while now and finally got the inspiration to put paint to them. Nothing exeptional, doing my usual "paint armies, not models"-hobbying.
I'm leaving the bases as they are until the army is mostly done to 600 points in SB-terms.
The keen observer will notice some stahlhelms here and there, and that is correct. I accidentally printed infantry without pickelhaubes and decided to paint them as is at this point, gonna need a 1916-onwards army at some point anyway. You live and (don't) learn.

As always, feel free to browse around the Factorium for other posts.
Cheers!
