The one with the 6mm french army.

I finished painting my 6mm french Hotchkiss 39's together with their big-brothers Souma 35's to form a tank-regiment for WW2 early war-era. The system we use in the group is Fistful of Tows 3, and use the standard 1:5 scale proposed by the rules authors.

My main army-project for the early war, or really May -40, are the belgians as Groupe Keyerts. That project grinds on slowly since I really, really want to have good models for the Chasseurs Ardennes. It pretty much means I need to either sculpt them myself or wait for someone else to do it. I do have some Scotia Grendel (or was it H&R?) generic cyclists, but they are pretty subpar in terms of the quality of the molds. That lead to the desicion to print and speedpaint some french troops and go for the Battle of Hannut eventually rather than Ardennes battles.

For FFT3 the painted contents in the box total just shy of 1350 points. I have printed some Laffly trucks, Unic halftracks and a couple of Citroens for the officers to travel in style. If I proxy my belgian infantry as frenchmen I have enough for either a motorized dragoon battalion, or a motorized infantry batallion to round out the points and army for around 1500pts.
Which kinda tickles me a little since they are H&R french infantry models larping as belgians to begin with.

In the future I might put the individual tanks on bases, but for now I am modelling as the rest of the gaming-group. I store them in a standard foodbox with cut strips of magnetic sheet.
The tanks have small strips of steel between the tracks and they hold on suprisingly well.
I will figure out a more permanent storage-solution in the future.

Those of you who zoom in will see that the Somuas and H39's need some weathering,
but in due time. In due time.
